When cashless isn't available, you pay first and claim back. Here's how to do it cleanly.
You use reimbursement when treatment is at a non-network hospital, or when cashless was denied or not requested. You pay the hospital and then claim the amount back from the insurer.
Typically: the duly filled claim form, original hospital bills and receipts, the discharge summary, investigation reports, doctor's prescriptions, and your policy and ID details. Keep copies of everything.
Intimate the insurer/TPA of the hospitalisation, collect all originals at discharge, submit the claim form with documents within the policy's submission window, and track the claim number for status.
Upload your policy and the insurer’s letter — Claim Saathi reads both, finds the exact clause, and helps you respond.
